Few Mistakes You Have Been Making In Your Website Design and Development

Today, a website design and development has become a necessity than a luxury. If you think that you have spent enough on your website therefore it should be effective to attract audience, then you are wrong. There are many other factors, if tackled wisely then will help you to create a brand image or else can lead you to fall down. Here we are going to discuss few mistakes that we make in our websites:

1)  Unattractive Layout

There are hundreds of templates which look amazing for opting but are not conducive to converting website traffic into qualified leads.
For instance, your font is too fancy to be read clearly or the content is not much helpful in directing what you are trying to explain. Sometimes, when a visitor clicks on “read more” or any other link to read further and it does not work, that all puts a negative impact.
Always try to look at your web development as potential customer and you will know what the customers actually want.

2)  The website design is not Mobile Friendly

There are many websites which are not mobile-friendly, which can be proved to be real bad for your business leading to decrease in conversation rates or by putting a poor impression on your customers. This means that you need to optimize your web design for mobile users.
To avoid such issues, always make sure that you use a responsive design and have large buttons which can be accessed easily.

3)  Outdated Content and Broken Links in Website Development

Try to keep your website updated. If you do not update it regularly then it will put an impression on the visitors that you are just feeding them stale news.
Everything, starting from your website content to links should be checked regularly. If any, dead links or unresponsive links then replace them immediately with the active ones.
Change your content on a regular basis to attract the visitors.

4)  Lack of or irrelevant Content

Your business website design should be created with your target audience in mind. Your customers turn towards your website seeking solutions for their problems. Therefore, your website should be informative enough to clear their doubts and resolve their problems.
Your website should contain fresh and relevant content that answers real-life questions. For example, if an article is written in context with solar energy, then each and every single detail about solar energy shall be mentioned in that content but only the relevant one. Just to increase the length, do not add on the words unnecessarily. Remember, visitors fall for quality and not for quantity.

5)  Loads too slowly

People don’t enjoy visiting a website if the website does not load within fraction of seconds. They basically get disappointed and end up closing it. They expect a website to load quickly; In fact, most of the visitors expect it to load in like 2-3 seconds. And that is very important factor to consider as visitors even make up their minds not to visit the website again due to slow loading speed.

Do consider these points while your web development, since you are investing so much then you should get the output accordingly.
